Jim Bullington Profile

Jim Bullington, a native of Bowling Green, has served as a Chamber of commerce Ambassador since 2001. He is a realtor with Re/Max Real Estate Executives. He was presented with the Hall of Fame award in 2004 at the Re/Max International Convention in Las Vegas. Bullington served three terms as a Bowling Green City Commissioner and has served on many boards including: Downtown Redevelopment Authority, Greenways Commission, Enterprise Community, HANDS, Lost River Cave, Capitol Arts, Jaycees, both local and state, BRADD, and Builders Association, among others. Bullington was selected as a Jaycee International Senator. He served as Kentucky State J.C.I. Senate President from 1984-1985. He is a member of Oakland Masonic Lodge No. 563. He has been an active member of State Street United Methodist Church for 20 years and presently serves as Chairman of Council on Ministries. He was also the chairman of transportation for the Ralph Bell/Billy Graham Crusade held at Diddle Arena in 1997, and was the logistics chairman for the United Methodist Conferences held at Sloan Convention Center in 2000 and 2002. Bullington is a graduate of Western Kentucky University. Jim and his wife Valerie have three daughters and six grand-children.

Code of Ethics

The Code establishes time-honored and baseline principles that come from the collective experiences of REALTORS® since the Code of Ethics was first established in 1913. Those principles can be loosely defined as:

Loyalty to clients;

Fiduciary (legal) duty to clients;

Cooperation with competitors;

Truthfulness in statements and advertising; and non-interference in exclusive relationships that other REALTORS® have with their clients.

To earn a designation, a REALTOR® a real estate agent has taken coursework and demonstrated specific skills, performance and knowledge in a particular area of the real estate industry
